WOI-Teach actively in the workplace
With the digital manual WOI-Teach, you provide your employees with a training system for your FileMaker solution that is individually tailored to each trainee’s learning pace.
A “Guided Tour” guides your specialists step by step through one or more layouts, promoting understanding of a process; or you can simply use WOI-Teach to display tooltips.
There are three modes available:
- Displaying tooltips (explanations) for a clicked field in the layout
- A “Guided Tour” guides your specialists step by step through one or more layouts, promoting understanding of a process.
- The user is guided step by step through a layout in which they make the entries suggested by WOI-Teach. For example, they are shown how to create a new data record and fill in important fields correctly. This applies both to self-explanatory input fields, as well as to the selection of indicators and the functionality of buttons.

For Claris FileMaker developers and administrators who want to convey information to users via tooltips without interfering with the layouts.
- What tasks does the WOI-Teach tool perform?
WOI-Teach is functionally equivalent to a printed manual. Just like its printed counterpart, it guides and informs the user about how to use several layouts that belong to a topic.
- What distinguishes this tool from other solutions?
The tool is an FM add-on that can be subsequently integrated into any existing FileMaker solution. Existing tables, relationships or layouts remain completely unchanged, as each guided tour is laid over the existing layouts.
